Detox Tea – Fresh Peppermint Apple

Introducing our new addition to the Pieority Kitchen recipes, here’s a cup of Fresh Peppermint Apple Tea.

Not only does peppermint tea have health benefits which allows for energy boosting, it also aids in digestive issues. Now, top this off with an apple a day (which keeps the doctor away!) for blood sugar stabilising and to ease any inflammation.

It’s easy and promises tantalising flavours in 10 minutes and less.


  • 2 peppermint tea bags
  • 2 small apples (or 1 large one)
  • Fresh mint leaves (to your liking)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3-4 cups of boiling water (less if you like it concentrated!)


  1. Add some sliced apples into a jug
  2. Cut up some fresh mint leaves (store bought is fine as well)
  3. Drizzle a dollop of honey
  4. Finally, add the tea bags to the jug and steep them in hot water!

For optimal taste, be sure to steep it for at least 10 minutes! If you prefer it cold, remove the teabags and stick it in the fridge for longer or add a couple of ice cubes.
